12th August 2010
Windsurfing: Ynyslas
Wind Direction: NW
Wind Stength: 20-25 knots
Surf / Sea State: 1-2 foor surf
Air Temperature: 16ºC
Sea Temperature: 16ºC
Weather: Cloudy
Max Speed: 22 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 32.3 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

I timed it just right and got to the beach as the wind filled in. I started off on my 5,6m sail with my 85ltr Naish Hybrid Freewave which was fine, but for a little more oomph I headed home and got my Starboard S-Type 104 as well.

After a while on that I decided it was a little too much and changed back down to the smaller board, and as the wind filled in changed down to a 5m sail as well and spent most of the time on that.

Quite a few other people were out too, Simon was kitesurfing as was someone else, Dave and Sarah joined me and there were 4 other windsurfer (from Bristol) out on the water as well.

The wind was around 20-25 knots NW and fairly steady so I had a good sail. Not much in the way of waves so very little jumping or wave riding, but enough to keep things interesting. I even remembered to do some duck gybes now and then.
